Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 5-10 years management experience at senior level in refugee or related fields
  • Proven ability to set up administrative systems
  • Possess excellent financial and personnel management skills

1. Financial management
  • Lead financial analyses of Gambella programme. Provide strategic support for Senior mgmt. team
  • Ensure that all DRC Gambella financial movements are in accordance with DRC and donor rules
  • Review all compliance concerns and set systems
  • Ensure efficient financial monitoring and reporting (including monitoring expenses and revenues, reviewing and upgrading existing procedures, ensuring production of appropriate financial reports for internal and external clients);
  • With support from the Finance Officer in Gambella and the Finance team in Addis, ensure high quality accounting (including overseeing day to day accounting, managing the year-end audit process);
  • Lead the Monthly Financial Review meetings and share minutes with management team
  • Organize and prepare regular finance and admin meetings.
